Pride Family Brands redesigns Spanish Bay Collection
Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, August 2, 2013
The redesigned Spanish Bay Collection by Pride Family Brands boasts a dimensional diamond pattern created using interwoven aluminum strips of varying sizes.
A popular collection, Spanish Bay "holds enhanced luxury features that draw inspiration from classic styling," according to a press release.
"With the artistry and true craftsmanship that is found across all pieces in the new Spanish Bay Collection, retailers are recognizing again the beauty and unique design features it delivers," said Steve Lowsky, president, Pride Family Brands. "With the redesign, Spanish Bay is able to showcase the expert work of our skilled artisans in cast and woven aluminum and cushion tailoring."
The Spanish Bay Collection includes deep seating and dining with a multiple seat cushion design for extra comfort and support. All cushions are tailored for a perfect fit within the chair design. On all seating, the sides and backs are crafted of multi-size aluminum strips interwoven to create a dimensional diamond pattern. Matching cast aluminum buttons accent each back cushion.
The company reports that the Spanish Bay Collection received a positive response from retailers following the recent Casual Preview Show.
"For Arizona, we love the scale and the detail in the woven back and sides found in Spanish Bay," said Chad Scheinerman, CEO, Today's Patio, Scottsdale, Ariz. "We think it will be a collection that will set itself apart from everything else on our floor.
"As always, I was impressed with how Pride Family Brands is prepared with all their new collections and sales materials. We know when we enter their showroom that we are seeing final product and are able to begin making decisions prior to leaving the market."
The Spanish Bay Collection will launch during the International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market, held Sept. 17-20, in Pride Family Brands' new showroom at the Chicago Merchandise Mart, #1576.
