Contemporary furniture manufacturer Vondom ventured to Valencia's "Torres de Serrano," one of the city's original gates that is now a historic monument, for a charity event Sept. 18-19 during the Habitat Valencia trade fair and Valencia Design Week.
A host of design and architecture talents such as Studio A-cero (Joaquin Torres and Rafael
Llamazares), Ramon Esteve, Teresa Sapey and JMFERRERO contributed to the festivities.
The ADAN Collection by Teresa Sapey was featured on the steps of the medieval building. Inside, Vondom collections were displayed in each space, showcasing the concepts and visions of designers for more than 700 guests.
Event collaborators include Ginself, Daniel Belda and media partners such as Arquitectura y Diseño, Harper's Bazaar, Esquire, Robb Report and Orizon. Luna Catering provided food and cocktails. Tenors and a soloist provided music.
Proceeds from the event went to Casa Caridad Valencia, an organization dedicated to helping those in need of food and shelter get back on their feet.
