Full-line manufacturer and importer Foremost Groups, Inc. has opened a new permanent showroom in downtown Chicago, prior to the International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market on Sept. 12-15.
Foremost has leased a newly renovated 5,000-sq.-ft. space directly across the street from the Merchandise Mart.
Foremost will showcase its products on the entire second floor at 401 N. Franklin, at the corner of Franklin and Kinzie. Here, the company plans to show its entire 2012 lineup in addition to its top sellers from Veranda Classics by Foremost Groups, Inc., Broyhill outdoor, and Lane outdoor. Throughout the Casual Market, the showroom will open at 8 a.m. and feature a complementary café serving breakfast, lunch and what is sure to become famous, "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere" afternoon cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
Previously, the company had invited buyers to its premarket in Houston and Chicago, as well as having exhibited on the 8th floor during the Casual Market.
"Exhibiting on the 8th floor has served us well for many years, but the demand of buyers has changed and with this new facility we will make it easier and more convenient than ever to shop our key product assortments all under one roof without going to China," said John Hunt, senior vice president, home division of Foremost Groups.
