Palm Springs Rattan & Garden Classics sees sales gains

Palm Springs Rattan & Garden Classics, wholesale manufacturer and distributor of casual furnishings, announced sales gains for the 12-month period from July 2009 through June 2010.
Despite the economic landscape, Palm Springs Rattan saw positive movement in written business for 11 of the 12 months. Shipment figures were also up for 10 months out of the same 12-month time period for the wholesale wicker and rattan manufacturer and importer.
"We attribute the positive gains to our ability to be responsive to retailers nationwide in product and customer services," said Tami Newton, sales manager for Palm Springs Rattan & Garden Classics. "Our products are reaching a market that is currently growing with homeowners looking for fresh designs and value. With our quick ship capabilities, we also can be responsive to retailers who are limiting warehousing due to the expense."
Palm Springs Rattan's commitment to being responsive to its retailer network is also evidenced in growth seen in the company's independent representative team.
"We have worked over the past months to add experienced representatives for several areas across the country," Newton said. "With our newest and planned additions, we look to build on the awareness of our product lines as well as increase communication between our retail base and our company buyers."
