Call for nominations: 25th Annual ARTS Awards

DALLAS - Dallas Market Center and ART, the creative home furnishings network, are accepting nominations for the 25th annual ARTS Awards. Dallas Market Center and ART encourage anyone in the home accents or furnishings industry to nominate their peers online at dallasmarketcenter.com/artsawards.
The ARTS Awards, presented each January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, recognize manufacturers, retailers, product designers and sales representatives from around the world. The 25th annual ARTS winners will be revealed during a gala event Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. This year's awards will recognize excellence in 26 different categories.
"We look forward to celebrating the best in the industry during the 25th annual ARTS Awards this January," said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. "This year we've added a new, regional retail category - Outdoor Lifestyle Store. This growing niche has excellent stores throughout the country that we are excited to honor."
Anyone in the home furnishings industry may nominate in all categories. Neither membership in ART nor representation at Dallas Market Center is necessary. The nomination deadline is July 31, 2013.
The awards categories are:
Manufacturer Awards: Accent Furniture, Green Award, Home Accents, Home Textiles, Lighting Fixtures, Outdoor Living, Portable Lamps, Tabletop and Wall Decor
Retailer Awards: International Retailer, Furniture Store, Lighting Showroom, Home Accent Store and Outdoor Lifestyle Store
Individual Awards: Rising Star, Sales Representative, Product Designer and Academy of Achievement
The 25th annual ARTS Awards are sponsored by Casual Living sister publications Home Accents Today and Gifts & Decorative Accessories, as well as enLIGHTenment, Giftware News, HFN, Home Fashion Forecast, Residential Lighting and the Sustainable Furnishings Council.
