JoAnn Miller-Marshall named executive VP of AMC Tradeshows

JoAnn Miller-Marshall has been promoted to executive vice president of AMC Tradeshows. In her new position, Miller-Marshall will direct all AmericasMart home, gift and apparel, and Lightfair International sales, according to Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., president and COO of AmericasMart Atlanta and its AMC, Inc. parent entity.
Miller, who's worked for AMC for 19 years, has helped grow the AmericasMart temporaries through the addition of signature categories and collections. She helped develop the AmericasMart High Design juried collection, Collegiate Licensed Products Pavilion, Body & Soul, Boutique and Handmade collections, Birding & Backyard Nature, and the HD HOME category.
"JoAnn has grown our tradeshow business nationally and globally - not only in sheer numbers of exhibitors and booths but in an equally important long list of innovations, including new categories, new programs and new ways of serving our customers," Portman said. "This advancement affirms her incredible gifts and talents and signals continuing growth for our tradeshows business."
Miller's promotion will further unify all AMC tradeshows sales under a single direction for enhanced customer service and convenience across all business lines, according to a press release from AmericasMart.
