CONVERSATION GROUPS and dining sets are two key elements of an outdoor space, and these are items consumers want, according to the exclusive Casual Living and HGTV 2010 Outdoor Furniture Survey. Per survey results, found on page 25 of this issue, 66% of consumers plan to buy conversation group between 2010 and 2011 and more than three-fifths of consumers plan to purchase dining set within the same time-frame.
     During the purchase process, consumers re engaging themselves in product research online and in stores. Retailers who find way to connect to the consumer on their terms my grab the sale. Retailer websites, blogs and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace provide retailers the opportunity to reach out to consumers. Have you connected with customers today?
