According to a Capel press release, "Coco has translated her unique graphic design aesthetic into rug collections that are colorful and comfortable, with a fresh California twist."
"I am beyond thrilled to be partnering with a prestige brand like Capel to introduce the first Cococozy rug collection," said Coco, who prefers to be identified only by her nickname, given to her as a child by her grandmother. "I have always wanted to design rugs because they are such an important part of decorating. This rug collection is filled with a selection of designs that are modern, stylish and accessible."

"Capel's designer partnerships continue to set new standards, and we worked closely with Coco to create a line that brings the allure of her fresh style to our customers in a remarkable hand-knotted product that has a soft, plush feel," said Allen Robertson, vice president of sales. "The quality and design of Cococozy for Capel Rugs are exceptional. With five collections and 24 rugs to choose from, our customers can experience a unique taste of California-cool, simply by shopping at Capel."
Based in Los Angeles, Coco is an executive by day and interior design blogger and home furnishings designer by night. She launched the Cococozy blog in 2008 to help provide interior design and lifestyle inspiration for family, friends and strangers alike.
With about 5 million page views per year and more than 80,000 daily followers on social networks, Cococozy attracts a variety of readers from everyday décor enthusiasts to celebrities such as pop star Katy Perry and interior design guru Jonathan Adler.
In 2011, Coco designed a luxury line of textiles under the Cococozy brand featuring pillows, throws, bedding and drapery, all made in the U.S. The line recently expanded to include an assortment of accessories such as soy candles and tabletop items.
In January 2013, Cococozy was awarded the Best New Product Award at the New York International Gift Fair.
