Kenny Loggins to perform at ICON HONORS 2012

Grammy-winning singer/songwriter and guitarist Kenny Loggins will take the stage at ICON HONORS 2012 as featured musical entertainer during the gift and home furnishings industry's awards program set for this summer.
Loggins' hits span four decades and 12 platinum albums. His ICON HONORS performance will highlights an evening created to champion the achievements of those in the gift and home furnishings arena whose passion for what they do is as genuine as the music they will enjoy.
Honors will be presented to home and gift retailers, manufacturers, sales agents and service providers from across the industry, plus a keynote speaker soon to be announced.
"Kenny Loggins is iconic in his own right as the essential creative force in music spanning the range of human emotion," said Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., president and chief operating officer of ICON HONORS co-sponsor Americasmart Atlanta. "His songs are drawn from the mosaic of life experiences in the same way that ICON HONORS captures the hopes and dreams of those we celebrate."
Loggins is best known for his albums such as Celebrate Me Home, Keep The Fire, High Adventure and Nightwatch and hit "This Is It," which helped him win top honor of Best Male Pop Vocal Grammy in 1980. Adding to his fame, in the '80s Loggins became the king of movie theme songs with "I'm Alright" from Caddyshack, "Footloose" from its namesake and "Danger Zone" from Top Gun, to name a few.
The ICON HONORS 2012 celebration is scheduled for Saturday, July 14, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis as the premier event of the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. Please visit for details about ICON HONORS 2012.
