Top 100 store Furnitureland South has donated more than $14,000 worth of home furnishings and accessories to Triad Health Project's annual fundraiser, Designers Care.
Shoppers visited the store this past weekend to take part in the annual furniture tag sale and fundraiser, featuring home furnishings and accessories priced significantly below wholesale.
"Furnitureland South is proud to sponsor the Designers Care event," said Jeff Harris, the retailer's executive vice president of operations. "On behalf of our many employees, we are excited to help support the Triad Health Project."
The Triad Health Project provides emotional and practical support to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, to their loved ones, and to those at risk for HIV/AIDS. It also implements strategies to educate those at risk and the community about HIV/AIDS, and advocates locally, regionally, and nationally for individuals and groups infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
