Fortunoff, part of the nation's largest casual furniture specialty store chain, springs into action by launching three more new retail locations this year, just in time for the warm season.
Consumers in the tri-state area now find their trusted brand is more accessible with the addition of Fortunoff Backyard Stores in Livingston and Springfield, N.J. in February and Yonkers, N.Y. in March, making a total of 10 stores since the brand re-opened in 2010.
Customers can browse through a vast selection of outdoor furniture and accessories that can extend their home square footage in their own style, and within the physical constraints of their backyards and budgets. In addition to the breadth of assortment and unique product lines, consumers can also experience Fortunoff's reputable customer service.
Within retail locations ranging in size from 12,000 to 34,000 square feet, Fortunoff offers more than 100 outdoor furniture sets in different sizes, styles, fabrics and colors.
"There is an added element of sophistication and contemporary style to our selections this year," CEO Bernard Sensale said. He noted the introduction of vibrant colors and outdoor furniture designs.
With more and more frequency, people are foregoing vacations in favor of taking staycations - spending leisure time at home.
To meet the needs of consumers who wish to enjoy their own outdoor spaces, Fortunoff Backyard Store has introduced new table sizes, which are comfortable for entertaining large groups. For example, the exclusive elliptical table offers dining for 12 and was designed to facilitate conversation and encourage a social atmosphere. Gathering-height tables, also new, embody a height that is between a dining table and a bar set.
"The gathering height is different, fun, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing," said Marty Merkur, chief operating officer. "And our prices can meet every budget."
In an effort to help consumers extend their indoor living spaces to the backyard, Fortunoff offers vibrant colors in cushion and umbrella fabrics. Its all-weather wicker lines look good enough for use inside. Grill islands with sinks and granite tops take the kitchen outside the house with style. Firepit chat sets are offered in both wood and gas burning options.
Fortunoff Backyard Store, a registered trademark used under a license from Fortunoff Brands LLC 2010, operates in partnership with The Chair King, a Texas-based casual outdoor furniture retailer.
The Fortunoff Backyard Store stocks the South Beach Zero Gravity Recliner, available in three bright summer colors and great for the busy mom who needs to relax.
