ATLANTA — In response to the demand of an increasingly popular consumer trend in creating miniature gardens, Jeremie Corp. has revealed two new miniature garden collections, announced Linda Geho, marketing director.

The launch was made at the January 2011 AmericasMart Gift & Home Furnishings Market in Atlanta. Jeremie will also introduce the collections in Dallas, Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and Minneapolis.
Jeremie has introduced two separate hand-crafted collections: the Mini Classical Collection and the Mini Wildewood Collection.
The Mini Classical Collection takes a more formal approach and is inspired by the parterre gardens of France, said Geho. The collection includes mini border planters in four different shapes, mini urns, Classical Folly and mini classical columns. The water-tight planters display flowers, moss, greenery, herbs, berries or boxwood clippings.
The Mini Wildewood Collection is rustic in nature and has a "twig-like" appearance. It includes benches, tables, chairs, arbors and a birdbath. Each is a uniquely hand-crafted outdoor furniture replica.
Geho stated that Jeremie's mini accessories are perfect for creating imaginative garden boxes, magical fairy gardens at the base of a tree, for tucking into a favorite plant, or for creating a whimsical tablescape. Popular with city dwellers, the miniature garden trend satisfies the desire to cultivate small natural environments indoors. It is an imaginative way to bring the outdoors inside in the winter months. More and more garden shops are featuring miniature or fairy gardening, and some are even offering classes for interested customers.
