Schréder Lighting USA formed to market outdoor lighting

Schréder Group has established Schréder Lighting USA, based in Chicago. Schréder Lighting USA is the latest member of the The Schréder Group G.I.E., which is comprised of more than 40 group members within 36 countries and four continents.
“As is part of the Schréder Group philosophy, each group member has its own national management structure and all of the autonomy necessary for initiating and implementing solutions best suited to local conditions,” said Francis Schréder, board member of Schréder Group G.I.E. “The establishment of our newest group member in the United States will complement our existing Canadian operation in establishing the Schréder brand throughout North America.”

Schréder Lighting USA’s new facility includes modern offices and training session rooms, with a product showroom and tunnel lighting laboratory in development. The Schréder brand evokes innovation and technical expertise in the fields of public lighting, floodlighting, tunnel and transit lighting, as well as urban lighting. Schréder offers a full range of urban lighting luminaires in classical and contemporary styles. One of the technological hallmarks of the Schréder brand is the Sealsafe system which incorporates a mechanical design feature that ensures optimal performance and long product life.
