Outdoor Rugs

Forget doormats and Astroturf — more companies are hitting the floor and expanding into the rug category with style. Geometric patterns, solid palettes and whimsical motifs are offered in a range of cool and contemporary colors. The perfect complement for outdoor living, these new rug designs are anything but boring.

With a mesh of trendy browns and blues, the Driftwood rug, part of the Jill Rosenwald Collection of Porch and Patio rugs by Home Comfort, features up-to-date designs in geometrical patterns.
Islands rugs in chocolate and moonstone from Angela Adams are 100% cotton and feature a contemporary bubbly circular design.
Capel's Diamond rug, part of the Al Fresco Collection, is constructed of 100% olefin and features a Southwestern motif in coordinating colors like bronze and turquoise.
Couristan's Summit rug in the Recife Collection features a durable structure, flat weave construction suitable for indoor and outdoor use and a black and blue color palette to complement many fabrics popular in the casual market.
Made from recycled materials, Mad Mats from Mariachi Imports include a packet of Velcro corners that can be applied to the rugs in breezy areas.
Braided-texture highlights the Simply Home Outdoor Rug Collection from Colonial Mills, with a variety of complementary pieces such as chair pads, floor pillows and more, designed by Janelle Lamp.
Outdoor rugs from The HammockSource are constructed from DuraCord rope, the same material used to make the company's hammocks, and are featured in four new collections.
