Eastern Jungle Gym has launched a virtual campaign using trade-based Web venues to reach key distribution markets, including casual furniture, hearth, pool and spa retailers.
“Our expanding brand recognition has allowed us to maintain steady growth through new dealership agreements, but we want to be more proactive in reaching out to what we consider our primary distribution targets,” said Rolf Zimmermann, vice president of sales for Eastern Jungle Gym. “This campaign is aimed at casual furniture, fireplace, pool and spa, garden centers, fence and other specialty retailers who can benefit the most by offering swing sets as an additional line.”
Utilizing the Internet to reach potential dealers is a staple of distribution marketing for the East Coast's premier manufacturer of professionally installed children's outdoor play sets, but the focus on trade-based venues is something new for Eastern Jungle Gym.
“For the most part, we've been content to let dealers find us through our print and online branding initiatives,” Zimmermann said. “The new campaign represents our first foray into utilizing specific sites to reach out to installation-based businesses. As you can imagine, we're excited to consider the potential for expanding our reach into new territories.”
