China International Outdoor & Leisure Fair 2009 to expand
Janice Chamberlain -- Casual Living, December 5, 2008
Based on the outstanding introduction of Outdoor & Leisure Guangzhou 2008, organizers expect greater participation and success for the March 18-21, 2009 show as the exhibiting space will expand nearly 50% to 15,000 sq. meters inside the China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex.
Running concurrently with China International Furniture Fair 2009, Outdoor & Leisure Guangzhou 2009 extends the comforts of indoor living to the outdoors. With a theme of Healthy Living & Wealthy Driven, the event will integrate outdoor living, outdoor activities, garden decoration, tools and equipment. Complying with increased demand for the outdoor living sector, Outdoor & Leisure Guangzhou is already perceived as the most influential, largest-scaled event of its kind in China.
Higher expectations from buyers
Outdoor & Leisure Guangzhou 2009 will share with CIFF more than 100,000 buyers from home and abroad. In addition to its one-stop shopping platform for home furnishings and décor, the show will offer buyers several high-quality seminars and chances to interact with industry experts and insiders. By the end of October, Outdoor & Leisure Guangzhou 2009 had accepted more than 4,850 online pre-registrations. Of those, 55% are from China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, while others from nine other foreign countries, such as Germany, Belgium and Malaysia.
More exhibitors to participate
Exhibitors will display more than 150 brands in garden furniture, leisure tables and chairs, sun-shading equipment, outdoor tents and/or garden decorations. Some of the brand enterprises will make their debut at the show while others will expand their exhibition space for a more complete presentation of their brand image.
Outdoor & Leisure Guangzhou 2009 has attracted the participation of overseas exhibitors from Europe, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Those include Alma Contract, Artie Garden International, Century Yatai Furniture, Garden Art Furniture, Great Leisure Products and Orient Sino.
