Miles Talbott Furniture, Inc., has signed a deal with Joseph Ruggiero & Associates, Inc. to produce the designer’s line of upholstery, with the first introduction set for the October High Point Market.
“What people want today is affordable style,” Ruggiero said. “I am confident Miles Talbott is the company to make this happen.”
The Joe Ruggiero Collection fulfills its promise as a shortcut to a beautifully designed home. Sleek, livable, transitional and able to move between rooms, the Ruggiero Collection is based on a “mix and match” wardrobe-building principle, centered around design expressions that vary with changes of his uniquely designed fabrics using pattern, color and texture.
“We see many opportunities with our two companies working together now and in the future,” said George Jordan, president of Miles Talbott. “Miles Talbott and our parent company,Michael Thomas, have used Ruggiero’s fabrics for many years and have been very pleased with their performance and design.”
Ruggiero is also designing a complementary collection of Sunbrella® brand performance fabrics and Phoenix trims for residential interiors, both of which will be shown in October at Showrooms on English in High Point. Ruggiero’s “Made in America” wood furniture designs are manufactured by Caperton Furniture Works in West Virginia. Ruggiero also designs a collection of casual furniture for Terra Furniture and an all-weather wicker collection for Woodard. Three of eco-friendly woven patterns he developed with Viro debuted at the Hospitality Design Expo in May.
