NEW YORK - Bella-Dura is introducing an array of performance fabrics for the first time at Showtime, held June 2-5 in High Point, N.C. Bella-Dura will show in the Suites at Market Square, booth 1-466.
Bella-Dura will showcase performance fabrics in a wide variety of colors and patterns at Showtime in June.
After two years of textile research and development, Bella-Dura is unveiling its latest development, Pleats. The new collection features a ‘double beam' construction, providing the textiles with permanent pleats. The fabrics, in a range of colors and patterns, feature loft and volume for three-dimensional texture.
"As we focus on the indoor and outdoor categories, we strive to offer the marketplace with something new, revolutionary and beautiful," said Bella-Dura President Irwin Gasner. "Pleats offers texture, loft, and a soft hand and is something that up till now has not been available in the performance category. We cannot wait to show it off."
In addition to its new Pleats Collection, Bella-Dura will showcase an array of its Platinum ADEX Award-winning textiles. Ranging from bright patterns to elegant neutrals, each of Bella-Dura's fabrics boast stain-, spill- and bacteria-resistant qualities.
The SKUs to be shown are designed to support and complement one another: plain jacquards, textures, stripes, solids and sophisticated patterns that can all be mixed and matched. The color stories vary from a wide range of neutrals to bright and saturated.
Bella-Dura fabrics exceed 1,500 hours light fastness (UV stability), exceed 50,000 double-rubs, are stain- and microbial-resistant, bleach cleanable and 100% recyclable.
The company's proprietary fibers begin as a by-product of postindustrial waste and end as a fully recyclable product. Bella-Dura received the first Earth-Minded Award (EMA) for 100% Green Performance from ASID, and has also achieved a Cradle-to-Cradle Silver Certification by MBDC.
