C.R. Plastic Products appoints new VP of sales and marketing

STRATFORD, Ontario - C.R. Plastic Products Inc. announced that Edward J. (Ted) Scott has joined the company to further develop its growing portfolio of dealers and international accounts.

Scott comes with a wealth of experience within the outdoor products industry, having spent the last eight years at Napoleon Appliance Corporation where he managed and directed the North American sales team and was instrumental in overseeing the development of major corporate accounts.

Scott joins the company as vice president of sales and marketing to "continue C.R. Plastic Products Inc.'s recent success providing a wide selection of dining tables, chairs, love seats and accessories to design the perfect outdoor living space to many of the top retailers in Canada and the U.S.," according to a press release.

"I am excited to start a new challenge within C. R. Plastic Products Inc. and look forward to working with the team to further develop their already extensive product and service suite," Scott said. "I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on top quality service."

"Ted's wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the C. R. Plastic Products Inc. family," said Bruce Ballantyne, vice president of finance. "Our new product innovations and the increasing demand from our dealers led us to look for an addition to our team who will fit in with our philosophy of innovation and exceptional service, and it is very fortunate that we were able to find someone of Ted's caliber to fulfill this role. I'm confident that Ted will play a key role in providing and implementing high quality solutions for our dealers."

As vice president of sales and marketing, Scott will be charged with the development and growth of North American dealers and international accounts. He will work closely with the existing sales force and dealer network and apply best practices "to assure C. R. Plastic Products Inc. as a total solution to the outdoor products industry," the release states.
