Interactive destination inspires, informs consumers and retail partners

As the online home for the new Trex® Outdoor FurnitureTM collection, the site functions as both an e-commerce destination and an informative and inspirational showcase of the entire product line.
"The ease of navigation on the new site combined with stunning outdoor living vignettes and a depth of product detail make it an exceptional resource for consumers shopping online for durable, low-maintenance outdoor furniture," said Adam Zambanini, director of marketing for Trex. Providing inspiration
The TrexFurniture.com homepage highlights the relaxed styling and casual comfort of Trex Outdoor Furniture through a series of scrolling product photographs that encompass a third of the screen. Photographs depict the four different collections - Monterey Bay, Yacht Club, Cape Cod and Rockport - and link directly to detailed collection pages, where visitors can view at a glance all of the pieces available within a style group, as well as obtain information on the various sizes, finishes and pricing.
Once a specific design is clicked, visitors are given the opportunity to "visualize" their purchase by selecting frame colors and cushion fabrics that are instantly rendered on screen. The product page also displays organic consumer reviews, offers a convenient "Questions" tab showcasing recent inquiries and recommends coordinating products.
Educating visitors
To learn more about the outstanding performance, eco-friendly composition and ease of maintenance of Trex Outdoor Furniture, visitors can click on links at both the top and bottom of the page, read the brand's story and find answers to frequently asked questions.

The site also engages the causal online browser with an interactive homepage sidebar that previews "Best Sellers," along with "Patio Sets," "Highest Rated" and "Featured" furniture. Consumers may digitally browse the product line further using tabs at the top of the page for "Collections," "Furniture Styles" and "Accessories." A detailed customer service page answers any and all questions about product orders, shipping, delivery and warranties.
