Homecrest Outdoor Living announces departure of Tom LaBounty
March 9, 2009,
Tom LaBounty, vice president of sales for Homecrest Outdoor Living, left the company, effective Feb. 28.
“Thanks to Tom and his hard work, we established a strong foundation in 2008 that can provide long-term financial health and consistent growth for Homecrest Outdoor Living,” HOL Chief Operating Officer Tim DeJong said. “We are very grateful to Tom for providing his guidance through these crucial early days. Tom is leaving to pursue other personal and business directions. We wish Tom the best of luck in his new ventures.”
The Wadena, Minn.-based manufacturer is searching for the appropriate candidate to lead the HOL sales organization and plans to name a replacement by the end of April.
“Homecrest Outdoor Living is off to an exciting start,” LaBounty said. “The recent launch of our faux and cast table offerings, our new balcony seating additions, our renewed focus on making the retailing dealer successful and the rebuilding of our dealer network are laying a foundation that can serve the company for many years. I wish to express my respect to all the office and factory personnel in Wadena, our fine sales representatives and the many dealers I have had the honor to work beside. I wish Homecrest Outdoor Living the best as it returns to being an industry leader.”
