Terra debuts Apollo Collection

Terra Furniture has added its third line for 2008 with the Apollo Collection. Included in the collection is the Apollo chaise lounge, which offers a first for the casual furniture industry, an adjustable bed to match the adjustable back. The foot of the chaise may be moved up or down to customize comfort for lounging or sunning.
Designed by Christopher Panichella, Apollo has a sweeping streamlined look, due to specially designed aluminum extrusions. The Apollo Collection includes dining, lounge, and occasional pieces. The high-back arm chairs feature a lumbar-supporting shape to give added comfort for extended seating.
Terra had also recently introduced the Mission and Tiburon collections.
Mission is crafted of tubular and extruded aluminum. Reminiscent of early California Mission design, the line includes contemporary touches in sling seats and backs and also is available in Terra’s new teak finish.
Designed by Ilan Dei, Venice, Calif., the cast aluminum Tiburon Collection features a floating oval pattern on the chair backs, chaise lounge and dining table.
Additionally, the company added a swivel/tilt dining chair to its popular Chelsea Collection designed by Joe Ruggiero. The Chelsea Collection is made of tubular aluminum and is highlighted by nodules that simulate bamboo. The chair swivels 360 degrees and tilts.
