MAK Grills receives Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame honor

DALLAS, Ore. - Wood pellet grills manufacturer MAK Grills has been inducted into the Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame.

The annual award ceremony was held Tuesday, July 2, in Santa Monica, Calif. More than 70 companies in 22 categories were nominated to receive a Hall of Fame award, which recognizes American-made manufacturers and products.

Nominees were scored using a three point criteria based on quality, competitiveness and the impact the product has in the marketplace. MAK Grills is one of only two American-based grill manufacturers to be entered into the USA-Made Grill category this year.

The Made in USA Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the importance of USA-made products, and preserving American manufacturing jobs. The first Hall of Fame awards were presented in 2010, with 20 companies being recognized, including Ford, Caterpiller, Boeing, Maglite and Zippo.
