Caravita to make Casual Market debut
Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, July 26, 2011
Caravita Sun Shades and Pavilions will be exhibiting its shade collections for the first time at the International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market at Chicago's Merchandise Mart, Sept. 12-15.
"We are very excited to exhibit at the ICFA Market this year, with our growing number of specialty retailers it's important for us to demonstrate all our possibilities," said principal Michael Caravita. "Our objective has always been to service the client, we encourage them to get creative with their shade ideas, and some have come up with some beautiful designs. This season we want to highlight those designs and color choices."
Black, bronze and charcoals have been the highlighted powder finishes, complemented by rich and vibrant colors on the canopies. Accenting color on contrast bindings have been this season's most chosen design feature. Stripes and creative pattern designs have seen a reoccurrence as the season has progressed, opening the creative door to some unusual designs. Its German-engineered and European-manufactured opening and closing mechanisms are easy and convenient. Base and in-ground applications make umbrellas versatile by being portable or permanent.
All seven collections (four center mast umbrellas, two cantilever collections and a pavilion) will be featured at this year's show with some new luxury design features. "We are taking our traditional umbrella designs and stepping things up with some added features to really provide a luxury umbrella," Caravita said. New design features include a swiveling foot pedal for cantilever umbrellas, solid-aluminum hubs in any powder finish, high-gloss struts for a sleek design, stainless-steel bases and creative fabric details.
Caravita will be exhibiting in booth 8-7038 at the Casual Market.
