Apartment Therapy founder Maxwell Ryan will launch the new partnership with an appearance in the Surya showroom, Showplace 4100, at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 21 for "5 Inspirations for Small Spaces," where he'll share useful tips for creating impactful rooms where space is a key concern.
"We're delighted to be partnering with Surya for ‘Live from High Point,' our first ever real-time social media High Point coverage," Ryan said. "To kick off, I'll be presenting my latest book, Big Book of Small, Cool Spaces, and inviting you all to join me for drinks in the Surya showroom." The first 25 guests at the event will receive autographed copies of this best-selling book.
"There's a strong current of self-empowered design that Apartment Therapy has nurtured in online users that are passionate about home décor," said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. "With its focus geared towards larger metropolitan areas throughout the U.S., our partnership with the site provides a great opportunity for its highly engaged users to discover and explore Surya's offerings - a range with one of the broadest assortments of rugs and coordinating pillows, poufs, throws and wall art in the industry."
