2011 International Home + Housewares Show nearly sold out

ROSEMONT, Ill. — The 2011 International Home + Housewares Show is nearly sold out with 1,900 exhibitors signed up, including more than 400 first-time companies and exhibitors returning after a brief absence. The show will be held March 6-8 at Chicago's McCormick Place.

Well-known suppliers returning to the show include Cosco; Sharp Electronics; Haier America; Lava Lite LLC; The Onecare Company; Stonewall Kitchen and Viking Range. Other returning companies include Adesso, Inc.; Gio'Lifestyle SpA; Lynk, Inc.; Snips s.r.l.; The Laundress; Swiss Army; Tervis Tumbler; Viola Imports and Waechtersbach USA, Inc.

"We are very pleased to say the show is nearly sold out and that we have very limited floor space available," said Phil Brandl, president of IHA, which sponsors and manages the show. "The buyers will find a breadth of new at the show, including the hundreds of first-time exhibitors; thousands of product offerings; a new category, Discover Design, with more than 60 suppliers of products on the leading edge of the design spectrum; and our co-location with The Travel Goods Show, offering buyers another new destination for new products and strategies to increase sales and build customer traffic."

- Dine + Design Expo: Palate and Plate; Welcome Home Brands; Cristel; Hahn Cookware; Mavea LLC; Protect-A-Bed; ToweLocs and Wallpops

- Gourmet Food + Specialty Products within the Dine + Design Expo: David Rio Coffee and Tea; Gourmet Du Village; Neharia, Inc.; Cherry Republic; Numi Organic Tea; Brix Chocolate; Bien Padre Foods LLC; The Hampton Popcorn Company and Espresso Machine Experts.

- Wired + Well Expo: Nescafe Dolce Gusto; iRobot; Vivitar Sakar; Humanscale and Triple Loop Housewares.

The Travel Goods Show will be located on Level 1 of the North Building and will feature suppliers of luggage and casual bags, backpacks, business cases, computer bags, handbags, travel accessories and umbrellas. Buyers who register for the International Home + Housewares Show or The Travel Goods Show will receive free admittance to the other show, Brandl said.
