According to a recent survey conducted by the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association, 76% of consumers say fall is the prime time for grilling because the cooler weather is more conducive to outdoor eating.
With the holiday season approaching, and warm weather lingering in several parts of the country, casual retailers have the opportunity to cash in as gift givers, grilling enthusiasts and outdoor entertainment connoisseurs search for just the perfect gifts for their friends and family.
Casual Living's Exclusive 2007 Consumer Buying Trends Survey revealed the top three characteristics consumers look for when shopping:
A wide range of product choices
Good customer service
Ability to take product home the same day they buy it
