Woodard named Chuck Kent as its sales representative of the year during its annual sales meeting. Kent joined the Woodard team with 31 years of experience and knowledge in the industry, an expertise that was evident in the outcome of his outstanding year.
Kent had previously represented Woodard for 10 years, spanning from 1985 through 1995, and after a hiatus rejoined the sales force in January 2007. He attributed his sales success in the Midwest to the support of those he works with on a daily basis.
“The current Woodard brand and product offering in all categories allows for unlimited opportunities and potential to retailers,” Kent said. “My success this past season was a combined effort by the outstanding dealers in this territory, and the entire Woodard team and support staff combined. For this I am grateful and look forward to another good year in these exciting and challenging times in our industry.”
Perry Solomon, vice president of sales integration, said Woodard was pleased to honor this member of the sales force for his hard work. “Chuck has excelled at selling all brands of Woodard product as well as serving and selling his customers in an exemplary professional manner,” Soloman said.
