NORTH VENICE, Fla. - Insulated drinkware manufacturer Tervis is launching several new collections in time for the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market June 19-25 and the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market July 10-17.
The Neon Collection
Channeling the popular retro colors of the 1980s, the Neon Collection includes designs and accessories in neon pink, orange, yellow, purple, lime green and turquoise.
The illuminating colors highlight expressions like "Really?" "RU Kidding?" "Amazing!" and "Seriously?" There are also designs with trendy bright patterns of peace signs, hearts, flowers, flip-flops and polka-dots.
"The neon trend is back in full force," said Dorothy Lierman, Tervis VP of line planning and merchandising. "These tones have been wildly popular in fashion and sports and now the drink world."
Colleges are also heating up this summer, but not by way of temperature. Tervis captures the craze by turning college logos neon.
"Collegiate designs are extremely popular among our Tervo-maniacs", said Rich Kaplan, Tervis president of sales and marketing, chief brand officer. "It only seemed natural to expand the neon trend into the student world."
More than 45 schools from coast to coast will be illuminated, including the University of Florida, Iowa State, Kentucky, Oklahoma State and more.
Handles, lids and tumblers of all shapes and sizes are included in the new line. Prices range from $ 11-25.
Tervis is also collaborating with Peace Frogs on a new line of drinkware designs that inspires green living with a groovy style.
The Peace Frog Collection
"The Peace Frogs brand focuses on environment and wildlife conservation," said Catesby Jones, Peace Frogs founder. "Our products help build awareness of our planet's endangered environmental resources. With a lifetime guarantee, Tervis is an eco-friendly option in drinkware with which we are proud to be associated."
For more than 25 years, Peace Frogs has been recognized for its friendly amphibian designs. Through clothing and accessories, the company has helped promote positive and optimistic thinking throughout the world. Through their partnership with Tervis, the company's signature multi-colored Peace Frog can now be seen on Tervis tumblers, mugs and water bottles.
"Like Tervis drinkware, Peace Frogs' products are made in America and appeal to every age, gender and style," said Maureen Mason, Tervis VP of licensing. "Our Tervo-maniacs can now sport their favorite frog-loving designs, and show their support for making environmentally friendly choices, on any of our Tervis products."
The Peace Frogs designs are available in various sizes and range in price from $11-25.
