Bardwil signs with Dansk

New York — Building on the success of its Lenox program, Bardwil Linens has signed a licensing agreement to produce kitchen textiles and table linens for Lenox Inc.'s Dansk brand — the casual alternative to the more formal Lenox brand.
"The expansion to the Dansk license is a great addition into the Lenox company portfolio of brands," said Nancy Kristoff, president, sales and marketing, Bardwil, based here.
"The brand has tremendous growth potential and we are looking forward to capitalizing in the casual marketplace."
Added Kathy Thie, executive vp, Lenox Brands, based in Lawrenceville, NJ: "The Lenox linen line has achieved strong consumer response. We are hopeful that the new Dansk linen line will follow the success of the Lenox collection."
The new collection, inspired by Dansk Kitchen tabletop designs, will launch in September 2003 New York Home Textiles Market. The line is entirely imported from overseas; shipping is scheduled for the fall. The product line will include three Dansk collections. Designs coordinate with Dansk's most popular tabletop patterns, including plaid, jacquard and solid designs. All of the linens and textiles are made of 100 percent cotton.
