Outdura wins multiple ADEX Awards

Outdura performance fabric, manufactured by Shuford Mills, has been recognized by ADEX with multiple awards for design excellence.
Also winning an ADEX Platinum Award is pattern Jubilee in the feature color, Aegean. Jubilee is a multi-facetted texture using Outdura’s new novelty boucle yarn in conjunction with a planted warp stripe.
“The new construction gives a raw silk look which exudes the artistry of hand-woven fabric in its finest form,” said Karen Williams, designer/partner, D2, LLC.
The French Twist Collection is honored with the ADEX Gold Award. “This particular collection hosts an entertaining array of patterns, textures and colors,” said Brenda Bost, designer/partner, D2/LLC. “The underlying formality of the classic scroll pattern, Chateau, and diamond motif in Lavalier, become more worldly with added ikat flair.”
Winning the Silver Award is pattern Rhythm. Featured in the spice tone color, which Outdura calls Pottery, Rhythm is the lead pattern in the Calypso Collection. Ethnic inspired, Rhythm is both bold and exotic giving a stylish upbeat approach to the outdoor arena.
“We are proud to be recognized by the prestigious ADEX awards,” said Natalie Scott, vice president, sales and marketing, Outdura Casual Furniture. “Once again, D2 and Shuford Mills have taken the Outdura brand to new limits, which allow our customers fashion-forward design options and innovative constructions. Couple that with the performance properties of 100% solution dyed acrylic and our commitment to service the industry and you have a winning combination.”
