Principia and METAPHOR partner to study outdoor product trends

MALVERN, Pa. - Demand for residential exterior building products and outdoor casual living products is expected to outpace overall remodeling spending over the next few years.
Homeowners are driving the demand as they turn their decks and patios into outdoor rooms and their backyards into casual living retreats. Similar to indoor décor, consumers now want to coordinate styles and colors throughout the space, which has an impact on product manufacturers and retailers.
Manufacturers need to consider how color and design trends affect demand for their products as well as how to best merchandise to capture consumer-buying dollars.
