Bella-Dura adds Susan Lobel as VP of marketing and brand development

NEW YORK - Performance fabrics producer Bella-Dura has hired Susan Lobel as its new vice president of marketing and brand development, the company announced.

Lobel brings with her nearly 20 years of expertise in the interior design industry, and in this newly-created role, she will be tasked with increasing Bella-Dura brand exposure and awareness among designers.

"The time is right to internally invest in elevating our brand in a smart and thoughtful way," said Bella- Dura/Wearbest President & CEO Irwin Gasner. "Susan's vast experience in the interior design industry on both the publishing and client sides puts her in the perfect position to lead that charge. Over the years, she has created and sustained extremely strong relationships in the design industry and is very well respected. Her close relationships with designers will help take the Bella-Dura brand to the next level."

Beginning her career as a window stylist and design editor, Lobel moved on to become promotion manager for Architectural Digest, then director of marketing for Interior Design magazine. For the past eight years she has been a consultant to high-profile design clients, including most recently, the luxury carpet manufacturer Tai Ping.
