October 3, 2011-- Casual Living,
Woodard was selected to be featured on Ion Network's television program, "World's Greatest."
Companies featured on "World's Greatest" are looked upon as industry leaders and experts in the field. The program airs nationwide to audiences of more than 75 million households. Woodard employees were excited and pleased to be selected for such an honor.
Focusing on Woodard's time-honored tradition of quality, durability, on-time delivery and innovation, Woodard was chosen to represent the World's Greatest in Outdoor Furniture for a number of reasons. Woodard prides itself in the existence of its domestic, Owosso, Mich. plant, and 145 years of boasting a Made in America product. The program also highlights Woodard's abilities to combine high-technology processes like automation, robotics and CNC bending along with the handcrafted techniques of antiquing and forging, which require years of expertise by its employees and have been passed down from generation to generation.
Woodard was also commended for offering a myriad of design options and mediums, ranging from contemporary to traditional, and its ability to provide consumers with products for the entire outdoor space, including outdoor lighting, fans, clocks and gauges.
Woodard's segment on "World's Greatest" aired on the Ion Network in September and will air again in October. Every episode of "World's Greatest" is filled with the top products from around the world, and Woodard is no exception.
