Natco Home Products adding 300,000-plus square feet in Dalton, Ga..

West Warwick, R.I. – Home fashions house and domestic area rug manufacturer Natco Home Products Corp. is expanding its Dalton, Ga.-based operations with an additional 3000,000 square feet of warehouse space.
Michael Litner, president, said the new space will include 30-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling racking.
He continued, “This new facility will better enable us to service our customers through improved product flow, shorter lead times and increased stock levels."
Natco will also utilize this new facility to increase capacity for its significant carpet converter business and to boost inventory in imports.
“Business conditions are more challenging than ever and retailers are looking to decrease their stock levels and to speed up the fulfillment process,” Litner noted. “Natco is expanding to meet these new challenges and is poised to grow and will continue to invest in our business.”
The more than 80-year-old company is family owned and operated. Its home textiles categories are many and its brands include Natco Home, Multy Home, Corona Curtain, Robertson Home Fashions, Central Oriental, Bess Home Fashions and Wyndham Weavers.
In related news, Natco is also opening a new and expanded showroom at 295 Fifth Avenue in New York City.
The new space measures 12,000 square feet. The former space, also in the building, measured 8,000 square feet,
“This new showroom will allow us to bring all of our divisions, including Natco Home, Multy Home, Corona Curtain, Robertson Home Fashions, Central Oriental, Bess Home Fashions and Wyndham Weavers, under one roof, and it’s a very large roof,” Litner said.
