Update: Mallin VP Merv Conn dies after surgery

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif - Mallin Casual Furniture Vice President of Marketing & Sales Merv Conn died on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m., as a result of complications from surgery.
Conn is survived by his wife Karen, son Jason, daughter Melissa and other family members. He had been with Mallin for more than five decades.
A memorial service will held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Temple Adat Elohim, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks, Calif. For more information and directions, call (805) 497-7101 or email email@example.com.
According to the company release, Brenda Pereyda, assistant vice president of Mallin Casual Furniture, and Kenneth Chen, president, will continue to lead the company to provide customers with sales support.
