Joe Ruggiero debuts New Classic group

With a nod to the past and a look to the future, home furnishings designer Joe Ruggiero unveiled his latest Sunbrella fabrics collection — New Classic — during the spring High Point Market.

The five fabric groupings in Ruggiero's New Classic collection — Newtown, Town House, Hayden Hall, Exotic Lands and Country Aire — include several new patterns and colorations for some of Ruggiero's most successful Sunbrella fabric designs.

"We are building the Sunbrella collection from within, focusing on our most popular designs, while continuing to add new patterns based on lifestyle and fashion trends," Ruggiero said. "With more than five years of experience, we have a good sense of what it takes to create winning designs that resonate with consumers.

"We continue to be amazed at design possibilities with Sunbrella fabrics," Ruggiero said. "The colors, the textures and the hand just keep getting better. Each market, more people appreciate the benefits of using a performance fabric for interiors, including upholstery, draperies, table skirts and top of bed."

Country Aire is just one of Ruggiero's new fabric collections for Sunbrella. It features Fleur, a fanciful display of flowers and vines, in apple, raspberry and ocean blue, while a coordinating stripe, Lancaster, is available in the color Seaside.
