Acacia Home and Garden partners with Cabana Joe’s

Line to debut during spring's High Point Market

-- Casual Living, 1/14/2008 7:28:00 AM

Acacia Home and Garden entered a licensing partnership with Cabana Joe’s, Inc., Beverly Hills, Calif.

Elements from nature have been integrated into two new Cabana Joe’s collections encompassing deep seating, dining, bedroom and case goods due to launch in April at the High Point Market in High Point, N.C. Two collections designed for outdoor living will debut in July at the Chicago International Casual Furniture Premarket.

The brand is based on Cabana Joe O’Brien, who lives in Hawaii and spends his time surfing and designing. His style is synonymous with carefree casual living. He has traveled extensively visiting exotic destinations, to surf and for inspiration for his collections, where he has gained a strong sense of respect for the environment. His products offer a relaxed casual sophistication and are a direct reflection of the comfortable, active, organic lifestyle that he enjoys.

“We are excited and very pleased that we are able to enter into this relationship with Joe,” said Alex Te, president of Acacia Home and Garden. “The synergy of talents, experience in product, merchandise and marketing will make a win-win situation.”

Acacia Home and Garden is utilizing not only sustainable but also non-toxic materials and will progressively explore developing materials that promote sustainable practices.

For more than 18 years, Acacia Home and Garden has produced furniture for indoors and the outdoor room as well. It operates a manufacturing facility in Conover, N.C., along with frame factories in Cebu, Philippines. For additional information, visit www.cabanajoes.com.
