Lou Rosebrock has returned to Lloyd/Flanders as senior vice president of sales and marketing. He replaces Dale Campbell, who resigned at the end of 2007. Rosebrock had worked for the Menominee, Mich.-based casual furniture manufacturer for seven years before leaving in 2002 and working for other casual furniture companies, including Whitecraft, Brown Jordan International and most recently Living RichLy.

Jewels of Java appointed Brent Crane of CAPLO Management Inc. to its sales team. Crane will represent Jewels of Java in New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.

Jeffrey W. Kirk, president and COO of The Astrup Company, retired Feb. 1 after more than 32 years with the company. Kirk was chairman of the Industrial Fabric Association International board for 12 years. Harry Gobble, general manager of the Glen Raven distribution group, and Al Johnson, business development manager, assumed many of Kirk's responsibilities to ensure continuity of direction in the merger of Astrup and John Boyle & Co. with Glen Raven.

Tony Bouquot, Patio Enclosures' director of engineering, was elected as president of the National Sunroom Association.

Laurie Rudd, a 22-year marketing veteran within the casual industry, has opened Laurie Rudd Public Relations. She will focus on providing PR, promotions and marketing services for the casual furniture industry, including performance textiles and hearth products. Formerly with The HammockSource, she is a freelance writer for Casual Living and a guest host for QVC.

Sheryl Saxon joined Groovystuff as a sustainability officer. She audits all aspects of the Dallas-based manufacturer's supply chain of reclaimed teak and is responsible for accountability procedures needed to reduce the environmental impact of its product.
