Chicago-based Jane Hamley Wells, distributor of contemporary furniture, earned three top honors recently for its seating designs.
The Elena chair by Barcelona Seating Company won the Best of NeoCon 2007 Gold Award in the stackable seating category. Its Splinter chair, also a Design Excellence nominee, took home the Best of NeoCon 2007 Silver award in the bench seating category.
In addition, the Splinter chair, designed by Winnipeg designer Matthew Kroeker, won the 2007 Best of Canada Design Competition, sponsored by Canadian Interiors magazine, which celebrates the talents, skills and creativity of Canadian designers.
"We are thrilled to be recognized with these distinguished industry awards," said Jane Hamley Wells' President Jane Humzy. "We are committed to seeking out the world's most innovative designs and designers and making them available to our U.S. clients."
