Woodard develops wicker collection with designer Joe Ruggiero

Woodard has partnered with home furnishing designer Joe Ruggiero in the design and development of an all-seasons wicker collection for the 2008 season.

Woodard's new Joe Ruggiero woven collection will be unveiled at the casual furniture industry's premarket July 9–12 in Chicago.

"I am delighted we are able to incorporate Joe Ruggiero's design inspiration and style into Woodard's product offerings for the upcoming season," Woodard President Dean Engelage said. "Joe has a proven track record in developing designs which do the one thing that is most important to both manufacturers and retailers — they sell."

Woodard is also partnering with Glen Raven and Viro on its Joe Ruggiero all-seasons wicker collection.

The group will showcase selections from Joe Ruggiero's collection of Sunbrella fabrics by Glen Raven and will be woven out of Viro all-weather wicker.

"I am delighted to be working with Woodard on this new venture," Ruggiero said.

"I see the collection as bridging the gap between interior and exterior decorating. It is a dream to coordinate my Sunbrella fabrics collection with Viro all-weather wicker to create a truly new collection of designs for Woodard.
