Beka Casting launches Coco Casual division

-- Casual Living, 8/5/2008 7:30:00 AM

Beka Casting will introduce its Coco Casual division at the September Casual Market in Chicago.

Beka’s 900-sq.-ft. booth will display the full mid- to high-end cast aluminum furniture collections the Ontario, Canada-based manufacturer has supplied for more than 32 years. Another 600-sq.-ft. booth will show off Coco Casual’s cast and tubular aluminum products.

“We started the Coco Casual division to offer our customers a greater range of products covering a variety of different price points,” said Maggie Bederian, Beka’s president and CEO.

“We had a great premarket show in July and we are all very excited about the 2009 season” said Raffi Dayian, vice president of sales for Beka Casting and now also for Coco Casual.

“We received a lot of inquiries of our products, not only from new and existing customers, but quality sales representatives that were looking to add a premiere cast line to their offerings,” he said.

Dayian noted recent additions to the company’s sales force. Those include Rick Causton, who brings more than 15 years of casual furniture industry experience, covering Ontario and Manitoba, Canada.

Michael and Kim Bobes, who have been involved in the industry for eight years, are representing Beka and Coco Casual in California.

Don Reis and Michael Morales, who bring more than 30 years of casual furniture industry experience, are representing the company in New York and New Jersey. Jim and Carrie Greenberg, who have more than 15 years of experience, are covering Florida and the Caribbean.
