Windward Design Group invests for future growth

In anticipation of continued growth, Windward Design Group recently invested in several new pieces of machinery for both its furniture and replacement cushion divisions.

The capital expenditures included welding booths, sewing machines and a cushion stuffing machine to help facilitate growing production requirements as well as increase efficiencies to further assist with timely deliveries.

The Sarasota, Fla.-based manufacturer experienced growth and positive transition during 2009 with the addition of several new sales representatives and the expansion of its replacement cushion division.
