Brown Jordan has announced the launch of an outdoor accessories collection designed by Laurie Jenkins, president of Laurie Bell Outdoor Occasions. The full line of exclusive pillows and trims will debut at premarket, July 10 through 13, 2006.

"Our customers are hungry for fresh looks and greater opportunities to select custom options," said Steve Elton, director of product development and marketing. "Brown Jordan has always offered an extensive selection of fabrics for our seating groups. The next logical move was to offer customized accessories. This year we updated our fabric collection and are introducing more wovens and jacquards, sophisticated patterns, and rich textures. Our arrangement with Laurie Jenkins allows us to really showcase these striking new looks."

Jenkins' contributed to the fabric collection's new direction by recommending new constructions and making some key industry connections. This work then served as the basis for the accessories program. Available in any combination of the company's inline fabrics, the pillows will be offered in multiple sizes with a variety of trim, welt, and button options.

"The goal is to warm up the look of the furniture with elegant accessories that complement the distinct collections," Jenkins said. "I've always believed that inspired patterns used in accent pieces - whether those be throws or pillows or what have you - can dramatically change the theme and look of a room."

Laurie Jenkins has worked for 20 years designing high-tech fabrics and coatings for home textiles and apparel, and is the founder and principal of Laurie Bell Outdoor Occasions.

From tassels to trims, pillows to throws, and umbrellas to canopies, Jenkins' fashion
forward outdoor accessories have appeared in trade and consumer magazines, as well as been featured on the HGTV series Outer Spaces.

"I am excited to be working with Brown Jordan," Jenkins said. "They have an outstanding reputation and are highly regarded as a leader in innovative material and design introductions. Our combined efforts will offer the consumer terrific choices for customizing their outdoor living spaces."

The new collection will be on view in Brown Jordan's showroom in The Merchandise Mart, Suite #17-100.
