In addition to Woodard’s return, a few casual furniture manufacturers will debut this month at the Chicago Casual Market.

As part of its grand opening, South Sea Rattan will give away a set of its outdoor furniture to a lucky retailer who visits its permanent showroom, 1785.

“We are very pleased about our new showroom on the 17th floor of the Merchandise Mart,” said Sandra Marion, executive vice president. “This shows the commitment that the company has made to the outdoor furniture business. In addition to our new showroom, we have added six collections to our outdoor category. This gives us 21 outdoor furniture collections and 40 indoor furniture collections. Our outdoor products have been targeted to hit the $599-$999 retail price points with fashionable style and excellent quality.”

South Sea products are warehoused in its Greensboro, N.C. warehouse. The company also exhibits at the High Point Market in IHFC showroom H-744.

Following a successful premarket experience, Leisure Design will launch three collections at the Chicago Casual Market.

“We’re very pleased with our success at the premarket,” said John Burrows, Leisure Design’s vice president. “Our design team has followed that up with some wonderful new products for this year’s market. When you try our furniture you will find not only eye catching styling, but the most comfortable outdoor furniture on the market.”

Leisure Design offers container direct programs but also operates two stocking warehouses in Brunswick, Ohio and Toronto, Ontario to fill orders immediately. Its goal is to offer an outstanding level of customer service throughout North America.

Other vendors that were new to the July premarket will also exhibit their products on the temporary floors during the Sept. 15-18 Casual Market.
