Pacific Design Center to honor Richard Frinier at the 2006 Annual Stars of Design Awards

Frinier is among eight honorees

The Pacific Design Center will honor internationally renowned designer Richard Frinier at an awards ceremony on March 29 at 5 pm in the SilverScreen Theatre at the North Hollywood, Calif.-based design center.

Frinier is among eight honorees, chosen by design professionals and leading editors, to receive Annual Stars of Design Awards during WestWeek 2006. "This prestigious award recognizes design professionals based in Southern California that have made a significant contribution in their respective areas of design throughout the design industry," said Casey Cook, the Pacific Design Center's marketing director. In addition to Frinier's award in product design, other honorees and design categories include:
Architecture -- Lorcan O'Herlihy
Interior Design -- Madeline Stuart
Photography -- Erhard Pfeiffer
Graphic Design -- Geoff McFetridge
Urban Design - Morphosis
Art -- Paul McCarthy
