Furniture Classics launches E-Catalog

Includes Two Palms Casual lines

-- Casual Living, 2/19/2010 8:00:00 AM

Furniture Classics Limited has added an interactive E-Catalog to its Web site.

The E-Catalog also represents a preview to a re-designed catalog that will be mailed to dealers prior to the April High Point Market. The new catalog design incorporates both the Furniture Classics and the Two Palms Casual product lines.

“The most powerful benefit to our dealers is the ability to source product from both product lines,” said  Alex Boyer, vice president of sales and marketing, “from no other resources that we know of can dealers source such a broad and salable collection of product. We want to make the buying and selecting for dealers simple and easy.”

Previously the two lines were catalogued separately, with separate price lists. Boyer also noted that the Two Palms Casual subset of the catalog was specifically designed to allow on demand production of a brochure catalog for the Two Palms Casual line for use by specialty channel retailers.

By placing the catalog online, dealers and consumers alike have the ability to print tear sheets on individual items, special product categories and collections.

“We have already documented cases where new accounts actually made their initial product selections using the new technology,” said Cathleen Markham, sales and marketing coordinator.

Markham explained that the E-Catalog technology is an easy and cost-effective way to share actual catalog graphics and information. “We also have the ability to insert hotlinks into the E-Catalog which allow one click transitions to higher resolution images and additional product information. It’s versatile, easy and pretty cool,” she said.

Furniture Classics Limited is a Norfolk, Va.-based import marketing company supplying solid wood antique reproductions at middle to upper middle price points. The Two Palms Casual division supplies natural material casual furniture. Both brands broadly distribute through lifestyle specialty stores, full service furniture stores, the interior design trade, mass merchants and casual furniture specialists. The entire product line and contact information is available at www.furnitureclassicsltd.com and www.twopalmscasual.com.
