Fire Stone Home Products changes name

New name reflects company’s business direction

Fire Stone Home Products, manufacturer of outdoor room settings including fireplaces, pergolas, gas and electric grills, furniture and lighting, has changed its name to The Outdoor Greatroom Company.
      
While operating as Fire Stone Home Products for more than four years, the product line was expanded to include more than 100 items in the outdoor living category. The name change more appropriately identifies its current offerings and direction.
      
“We are really excited about our new name,” said Dan Shimek, president and CEO of The Outdoor Greatroom Company. “When we started the company our product focus was mainly on our Cook Number grills. While the grills remain the heart of the Outdoor Greatroom, it has become apparent that the opportunity is to offer an expanded product line that helps the consumer create the outdoor living experience. We feel the new name allows us greater access into that market while clearly identifying to the consumer what our product line is about. It also allows us to build on our internet domain names OutdoorGreatrooms.com and OutdoorRooms.com.”
