Robb & Stucky opens 3rd outdoor store in Arizona

Focus on comfort, entertainment

-- Casual Living, 11/14/2005 7:52:00 AM

Robb & Stucky Outdoor Living opened its doors in Chandler, Ariz. on Nov. 10.

The new location expands the successful Robb & Stucky Outdoor Living concept from Scottsdale to the East Valley. The showroom brings the area an exciting concept in casual lifestyle and outdoor furnishings.

The Chandler location continues the retailer’s expansion plan in the Valley. This is the second Robb & Stucky Outdoor Living showroom to open in Arizona this year. Robb & Stucky Outdoor Living debuted in Arrowhead in September. Robb & Stucky is strategically located in the Northeast, Southeast and West Valley regions.

Robb & Stucky clients desire an outdoor room that reflects the style and comfort of their interior to enjoy and entertain. Robb & Stucky Outdoor Living provides the resources to create the perfect outdoor oasis; from plush conversation sets to outdoor kitchens, fabrics designed for the outdoors and all-weather accessories to complement every environment. Robb & Stucky Outdoor Living showcases collections of fine outdoor furnishings, an extensive line of KitchenAid grills and small appliances needed to design an outdoor kitchen.

Continuing the theme of home entertaining for this innovative showroom, Robb & Stucky has teamed with KitchenAid to introduce a culinary center which will host cooking classes and product demonstrations for home cooking enthusiasts. Robb & Stucky Outdoor Living also features a garage outfitted in Gladiator™ GarageWorks by Whirlpool Corporation. This complete garage solution demonstrates how a garage may be organized incorporating Gladiator™ GarageWorks sturdy wall storage options, workbenches, tool and gear storage. Robb & Stucky experts will professionally install Gladiator™ GarageWorks for homeowners. The Robb & Stucky KitchenAid Culinary Center and the Gladiator™ GarageWorks area is schedule to open in early 2006.
Conceived by Clive Lubner, CEO of Robb & Stucky and Fred Berk, president and chief operating officer for Robb & Stucky, the showroom is designed as a 16,000-sq.-ft. showplace for consumers to visit and become inspired by what they see for their outdoor entertaining areas.

“This concept provides a showplace for customers who want to transform their outdoor space into a comfortable gathering area,” Lubner said. “They will discover wonderful design ideas, all-weather furnishings and stellar appliances for outdoor entertaining.”

Berk said careful attention has been paid to the level of customer service that will be part of the experience. “Customer service will be available all the way through the creative process,” he said. “Our design team will be able to help clients with the many choices that are available, thus ensuring they leave the showroom happy, knowing they made quality choices in creating a concept that suites their outdoor lifestyle.”

Founded in 1915, in Fort Myers, Fla., Robb & Stucky is a nationally recognized interior design and premier home furnishings retailer with showrooms in Florida, Texas and Arizona. The Robb & Stucky showroom is an extension of the design service and offers a unique lifestyle shopping experience with an unparalleled collection of fine furnishings and award-winning ensemble of designers.
