Tropicdane adds U.S. warehouse, expands designer galleries line

Tropicdane, a Danish owned and managed company operating in Vietnam for nearly 20 years, will open a U.S. warehouse in December to offer selected European wooden and mosaic outdoor furniture, modular outdoor kitchens, ceramic pottery and decorative accessories direct to U.S. specialty retailers.

Tropicdane USA will provide sales and service, warehousing and logistics services from Virginia Beach, Va. Carsten Lehn, owner of Tropicdane, named Jim Coyne as chief of operations for Tropicdane USA. Coyne brings more than 20 years of experience in the specialty retail and catalog business.

The company also named the following new sales reps and territories: Frederic J. Gilbert of Casual Resources in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut; Norman Shapiro of The Cutler Shapiro Organization in New York, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania; Brent Crane of Caplo Management in Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, North and South Carolina; Marsha Curry of Curry & Associates in Michigan; Sam Velasquez in California, Arizona and Nevada; Richard Dale Associates in Oregon and Washington; Tracey Borio and Alyson Thompson of TAB Unlimited in Ohio and Illinois, with special accounts being handled by Brian Phillips of J.L. Phillips Associates in Wisconsin.

Tropicdane USA recently launched its Living with Nature line of outdoor furniture and ceramic accessories. In each Tropicdane Living with Nature gallery, furniture and kitchens, mosaic products, tiles, ceramic pottery and decorative accessories are combined to create particular lifestyle.
